Diseases Chestnut Tree

Hull University did a lot of research into this - it's a moth that lays it's eggs between the layers of the leaf. It has been suggested that in the not too distant future there will be no Chestnut trees ! However last year another boff suggested that Blue Tits have latched onto this food source. Also they say to collect all the fallen leaves in the Autumn & burn them to kill the larve. Couple of links below.
