davesw
My main load when I had my last 308 was a 110grn V-max pushed by 50grns of H4895. CAUTION....that is a case brimmed full and compressed hugely from the bullet, it worked in my rifle, you work up from 44gr of H4895! Any hooo I got 3100+from a 20" tube and MOA, flat it was too. (Don't worry about the camera man, there is not one!). I used the same load as you worked perfect for me aswell

mikejt
Tried some loads last night, started with the lower load, 45.2gn H335 sierra 110gn bullet (according to the data this was towards the lower end) I tried 2 rounds and the muzzle flash was unbelievable! The people shooting either side of me stopped and came to see what it was (and thats with a wall either side of me!) Needless to say I didn't try the higher loads!
