affinity121
Hi All, I am looking at purchasing a new pair of boots and like the look of the Harkila Pro Hunter GTX 12". I wondered if anyone had any feedback on them, anything would be much appreciated as I cannot find too much only. My only concern is that they may scratch/ rip with lots of walking through heather etc. Cheers.
Scully
I've had two pairs. Comfortable, light, tough, but not waterproof. First pair was returned as they leaked through the heels, and couldn't be replaced as they were discontinued. Was given a credit note instead so added a bit to its value and bought the 'professional' stalker type ones with the rubber welded over the lower boot. It didn't make any difference; as soon as the wet weather arrived they leaked in, so they went back also. Decided I didn't want a credit note, I wanted my money back instead, which wasn't a problem as the vendor no longer stocked Harkila stuff. Bought Le Chameau instead. Sorted. If you do buy a pair, make sure you keep the receipt.
