By the way , I hate these "shooting buddy wanted type posts that are basically saying "can you take me on your land" , as tightchoke eludes to a shooting buddy for me is someone who has their own land sharing days out with someone who also has land to return the favour . Being new to the area I don't have any permissions yet but I am going to spend a few days approaching all the local farmers and try to get a few. Good luck with your search though. Exactly Fenboy, why start by either offering to "HELP" with the pigeon problem or offering to be a "Shooting Buddy"?
