The Mighty Prawn
As a trap Luddite I have been watching it in the Olympics and commonwealth games and I'm curious why despite only ever having one shot they have double barrels? Is it just tradition or lack of single shot? Assuming they only use same barrel each time there's one that never sees a shell surely? HDAV
Double trap.......... Also only the finals are on tV and recently rules changed to single barrel for finals, qualification is double barrel, in the US there are more single barrel disciplines and specialised single barrels like the BT-99 Browning. In the UK ABT is full use of the gun, DTL is 3 points for a first barrel hit, 1 for a second, using CPSA rules OT,DT are under a different rule book ISSF Edited July 30, 2014 by HDAV
