grahamch
Am looking for a new pair of waist waders for fowling and contemplating either Cabela's 3mm Neostretch™ Neoprene Waist-High Waders or Cabela's Dry-Plus™ Breathable Waist-High Hunting Waders. Any views or comments welcome, for most of the fowling I do chest waders are not needed and a pain to walk in. Thanks
GADWALL41
Hi , I prefer Waist waders myself and if crossing channels is needed I arrive early and leave later . I use Scierra waist waders as pictured here . This type is the newer issue , the earlier ones had no ridges on boots and were a slightly different colour. Both types can be found for sale online from £80 to over £100 , depending on model . My first pair lasted 5 Hard seasons , pair 2 in season 2 very shortly and used for fishing in the summer also . No leaks at all , I wore the soles out , Also I find the Neo doesn't suit me in Bushes and Briars , this with last longer , Enjoy whatever you choose,
riptide
Cabela's Dry-Plus™ Breathable Waist-High Hunting Waders. these are great !!! Use all time if long walks are part of it anf also boots keep feet warm right throug season !!!!! I use neropeanes if in boat a lot or extreamly cold !!! Have not worn neros now for three years as DRY-PLUS are the BIZ !!!! Tip !! If any friends are going State side find their villa or hotel number and get your pair sent to them so they can bring home as a present to you or for personel use !! Saves a lot on taxes !!!!
