Cranfield
You can get some bleeding, but it is usually a slight discharge, although all jills are different. Some of mine have been hit hard when in season, others pass through their season as though it didn't happen. Normally, internal bleeding shows in droppings as dark colour, red colour tends to suggest irritation near the vent. This can happen when the ferret passes particularly hard droppings, or for other reasons. Best thing to do is keep a eye on her for a few days and look out for any loss of condition, if necessary a quick visit to the Vet. Don't panic, ferrets have an amazing self healing system......well thats my experience.
