great service at fishinghut.net

Not shooting related but i know some of you are fishermen as well so i just wanted to let others know about the very good service I received at fishinghut.net,

I ordered a new Shakespeare rod and reel yesterday lunchtime online and as the reel came in three sizes I wasn't sure I'd ordered the correct one so called them up and explained what I wanted it for, the man couldn't have been more helpful opening the reels up and giving me sizes weight etc, he was very happy to help me and he also advised either the one I ordered or possibly the next one up,

I went with the next one up which although only a pound difference was changed at no charge and I received the package just before lunch today extremely well packaged.

 

I can thoroughly recommend using them for any fishing gear and I will be again from now on.

Fair play, I actually know the chap who owns fishing hut, and skate hut, nice fella and it's just round the corner, also Paul's angling supplies is good for some stuff too which oddly is also just round the corner from me and by fishing hut

I did look on Paul's angling supplies website but couldn't find the exact rod I wanted, will use fishing hut again though,

I have two local shops, one is very good for service and buying smaller things but the shop is so cluttered the rods are hidden by everything else,

The other shop is ran by a know all when he really doesn't so I won't give him my money.

Used to be a good fishing shop in st Ives cambs I used regularly with my dad when I was younger and when I worked in st ives but it closed down a few years ago now.
