Scully
Hope this works....first go at linky thingy on new laptop. Went for a wander on rough shoot the other night with the intention of stopping off at the flight pond on the way back with my Winchester 1300 XTR pump; the first time I've used it on duck. Was using SAGA 32 grm 3's through 1/4 choke. Seem to work well as all three were dead when I picked them. Spooked a Buzzard which dropped out of a tree beside the pond just as ducks took flight so had to wait until it was out of my firing line before I could shoot. Dropped one duck, forgot to rack slide, panicked, swore a bit, racked slide, missed, racked slide, dropped another, and then another after a quick reload as they came back round. Hard work this pumping lark .....but great fun. Hah...worked! Pic was taken on my iPhone 4s; can't believe how good the camera is on these phones. Underdog
They sure are good camera. Well done with the Winnie. Had one yonks ago and very good it was. I am surprised you failed to work it, they practically unlock them selves! In all honesty I prefers them over an 870! Good shots all the same :-) U. Scully
They do indeed 'practically unlock themselves', but it's been a while and I simply forgot I needed to do it and so just swung onto the next bird and pulled the trigger....result, nothing! I've been out with it on a regular basis since and getting back into the swing of things. I also had an 870 some time ago; should never have got rid. Thanks for the comments.
