50g ttsx. 222rem. Varget

just answered this on the other thread but why are you using varget?

 

on a whm? got some to try?

I would say it is too slow for .222 and judging by the lack of official data from Hodgson looks like they agree.

.223 loads they list are very high and the upper end is compressed, usually indicating a slow for cartridge burn rate

 

the general consensus on solid copper is they benefit from being pushed a little faster than their cup and core counterparts

 

H322, N130/133, RL7 would all be better burn rate choices for 50gr in .222 IMO
