So PPC etc, as for deer legal, well 6.5 Grendel makes the grade, and if an off the shelf option is more your style then 7.62x39, but you will have to hand load for it, deer legal with the right powder and bullet, but only with top end loads. Sorry for the late reply,it has no floor plate and will only top load,when I got it you could only get it to hold one bullet in action,I have now chiselled the stock out and it will know hold 3 bullets in the resess I have made in the stock but doesn't feed too great at the moment.I have looked on chambers Web site and I can get the original type box metal mag,I may buy two and graft them together and have it so it will hold 10 bullets in the box mag fed from the top through the action.
