Dunkield
This is possibly one for the DIY section, but I will try it here. I have laminate stock on my Tikka which is currently protected (or not as it would seem) by Tru-Oil. With the wet cold days approaching and doe season upon us already I need it properly protected from the elements. If it were a bit of wood in the house I would use matt finish varnish, thinning the first coat and then building up from there. So my question is, is that the best approach, or is there a better solution out there?
Dunkield
OK - I'll give it the Ronseal treatment and report back
steve_b_wales
I would leave the Tru Oil on it,if that is on the stock, and maybe give it another coat.
