Remington Recall

Ok, just got my rifle back under the recall. I was without it for all but 3 months.

What are other peoples experiences? Have you had problems, a good service, a quick turn round, worse turn round than me?

Are you satisfied with the recall system?

Personally I think it is a disorganised shambles, there is no way in the world a few minutes work should take 3 months if organised properly.

how do you know that any work was done? :whistling:

In many cases you will not, because in many cases nothing will be done except a check.

The recall is not suggesting every gun is a problem, and many will not be, they are being checked and those requiring work will be repaired! :good:

Are people really sending their guns back to be looked at?

Remington only made 4,999,993 that worked perfectly and 7 that were owned by careless rednecks in 52 years of production.

It is a pain but may well cause issues if you ever want to sell it, if you don't get it checked and then removed from the recall list.

There is of course a small chance something may just be wrong with it as well.
