toxo
if you like bird decoying fair chance you,ll seen forget clays, most decoying boys/girls don,t like wasting carts on clays, good luck I have four permissions at the moment and they're all grass. Will make an effort now to go after something that's cultivated for the pigeons. Have only decoyed to air rifle thus far. Don't bother reloading 12 gauge carts unless it steel or something special,
HDAV
Not economical you'll spend more loading them than buying them.... unless they are specialist loads non toxic etc....

Really?? I haven't looked at ammo prices yet. I just assumed this would be a worthwile project to get into (love a project me). On the subject of ammo - where do I look for best priced .22lr and cartridges? Do I have to buy F/F or do I get my local dealer to stock what I want (for a price no doubt)? HDAV
Can't reload RF, shotguns as previous, buying ammo face to face (cert exceptions) but its down to what your dealers sell and what they charge. Clay carts are £160 per thousand for good enough, start with 21g you wont hit more with bigger loads for a while.
