belly47
hi all I went out this afternoon for a plink with my 581 and the the bolt handle broke off. I bought it about 6 months ago obviously second hand and all has been well until now, it looks like it has happened before and been repaired would this be a gunsmith repair or could I get any metal shop to repair it?? I cant see any serial numbers on it so does that mean I could try and source a replacement? or is this a non transferable part? any advice would be much appreciated. flynny
A good metal worker/ welder could sort that out for you,( maybe make a longer and thicker bolt to weld on) be cheaper than a gunsmith. How long it will last is another matter.the 581 is getting rare, or at least the mags are( I've got one mate), Atb Flynny Edited November 18, 2014 by flynny
