Does your spouse know where you are?

I have thought about this thread and can see the sence of staying in touch with home . Several years ago I was on halvergate marsh in Norfolk fowling with a buddy of mine . This was before mobile phones were invented . I managed to put my back out jumping across a dyke . I was in abstract agony and couldn't stand up ,let alone walk . My mate had to walk to the marshmans cottage to get help . They came back with a tractor and trailer and got me to the car which was about 4 miles away . They got me in the car and my mate took me to hospital . I was hospitalised for three days . On reflection I don't know what I would have done had I been alone .
