had a call from the farmer on one of my permissions the other day,he says "daz,theyre back again,can you come and sort them out,bring your mates if you want,just get them shot",i knew exactly what he meant,so I went up with the rifle to move them on,they were at the other side of the farm to where they normally are,so I parked in the wrong place,i spotted them with the bins on the top fields,so had a slow walk across,got within 60 yards of them,then waved my arms,they then lifted and went to where they normally are,i then went back down and fired a shot,they lifted again and didn't come back,so if they do come back,ill have to go get some steel cartridges.............

ALall greylag,theres usually a load of canadas amongst them,but not this time,trouble is ive got no gear for these,such as calls,and deeks,lol,the pics only show about half of what was there,took them on my mobile......DAZ

Last time I went on a farm goose shoot I broke off some thick black thorn and set them up like you would a pigeon....

Their nice flat base helped only leaving the neck to prop up....

On a note to highlight the daftness in lead-steel....if they were pigeons you could blaze away to your hearts content with lead...
