WildCamper1982
Hello mate when you bought the car there should have been a plastic fuel filler adapter in the boot, in which allows it to open for filling with a fuel can. Hopefully you can find it, if not there about £7 to buy or borrow one off someone with same shape car. The petrol ones are a different shape and colour to the diesel ones tho and only like for like fits.

Rst1990
Just buy one off ebay or visit your local ford dealer they are £5, In the mean time to get fuel in quick just use a piece of hose pipe with funnel may help you out till you get one.
