Cawdor118
I have been out on the sea wall a couple of times recently and it's been pretty scarce of ducks and geese. My question is, if a pigeon/crow was to come in to 'shootable' distance can it be taken? Obviously only if there was no other fowlers to annoy about. What's the rules regarding it. Thanks! AberFowl
Depends where you are shooting. You cant where I shoot in Scotland... certain areas run by permit schemes and/or clubs do allow it Edited December 13, 2014 by AberFowl
Cawdor118
It's an area with no club, just open shores.
AberFowl
In Scotland? Firstly you shouldn't be shooting from on a sea wall, should be below it as the mhwm isn't on or over a sea wall. Edit...unless of course you alhave permission from the landowner of the ground above mhwm in which case it would be up to them what you van and cant shoot But as for the original question..no you cant, only wildfowl and waders which are on the quarry list. Checkout BASC for the rules and for info on what you can and cant shoot. Edited December 13, 2014 by AberFowl
