My wife does ours. I am sure you are all interested to see it.

Doesn’t time fly?

Charles and Henrietta have had outstanding years at school with Charles getting awarded 3 Optimes and Henrietta 4 Optimes. Henrietta is up for Head Girl next year which we are confident she will get (always helps to make a rather large contribution to school funds of course!). Charles also captained the first IV Rugby team and Henrietta the U16 Lacrosse team. Both teams went through the year unbeaten of course.

On the home front things were mixed. With all of the unfair focus on Banker’s Bonuses this year Andrew’s bonus was limited and we had to make do with miserly £3mln (bloody Guardian readers). After the taxman has had his slice I really wonder how some people cope. A friend of ours mentioned over canapés one evening that he only got £1mln (I won’t mention any names but you can guess who he was!). We had to, therefore, tighten our belt. As Dave says “we are all in this together”. We didn’t go on safari as we originally planned and limited ourselves to holidays in The Seychelles, Grand Cayman and a short two week trip to Barbados over Half term (this was a bit of a nightmare as First Class was full and we had to go Club Class – never again). We did manage to get to our place in Courchevel four times for some skiing. Less than one expects but ‘needs must’.

We also had to put off getting the new Sunseeker. I told Andrew that we should really get a new one as ‘Banker1’ was looking tired as it now three year old. He wouldn’t listen (does he ever!). Henrietta was also complaining that she was being bullied at school as she only had two showjumpers to choose from (remember that we had to have poor Estrellita shot last year as her mane got matted and she looked a mess). Hopefully next year things will pick up and we can return to some normality.

Anyway I must dash. The cook has misread the instructions for roasting the Osprey and cremated it. I’ll have to send the au pair over to Fortnum’s for another.

Toodle pip.

Merry Christmas

Fiona, Andrew, Charles and Henrietta.

Xxxx

Austerity is a biatch isn't it... hope thing pick up next year. The new tenders for Sunseekers are worth a look, our latest boat has a custom book-matched veneers of rhinoceros rump hide all around the cabin. There are so many cupboard doors they used a whole family of rhinoceriiiiiiii
