I been looking at the photon xt as a replacement to my broken n550, it will be used on a .223 as a foxing rig and will be used with a nm800 ir. Is anyone using this sort of set up as a foxing scope and how do you get on with it? How would it compare to my old n550, that I was happy with as I was spotting foxes at 250+ yards and shooting comfortably to 150yards. snow white Posted December 24, 2014 Report Share Posted December 24, 2014 Hi I have xt is OK can see 300yards easily only complaint is I use t20 ifr at close range say 75 yards i get what I call a white out but out to 300 no problems on my 223.
