clayman
This gun has been made for a long period - the earliest ones would be 40yrs+ now, and the gun is still made to this day as the 11-87 replacement was not favoured by all enthusiasts and the demand for the original has kept it in constant production. Oldest working set choke about £150 - £200, while clean examples of any age with nice wood and m/c can command upwards of £400. Spare barrels are around for £50 - £100 Main considerations are barrel length, choking, and wood quality, - assuming it cycles well and the gun black / action are rust free or not greyed out with wear. M/C versions are less common, but command a bit of a premium, although many 1100 owners prefer just to own several differently choked barrels and change barrels They also came in all the gauges, and the lighter ones are scarce and desirable, the 20g skeet being an excellent youth / ladies gun.
