photon
Paid a visit yesterday for the first time, my good friend and his mate shoot there so went with them, Christened my Remington 870 for the first time " well not me my mate did i'm still not allowed to shoot yet , post op spine surgery, bone man recons upto 9 months before bone graft has taken properly, I have put this boring information on here in case my wife reads it. Nice friendly place and staff were good, only gripe, could have done with some more WIND! It was that strong when the rain came the front of my trolleys looked like i'd wet myself again. What was good to see were quite a few sxs's being used, One thing that caught my attention was and i presume was a dad and his two sons, not very good with ages so guess the eldest 15 and the youngest 12 all three had a sxs,the youngest had a 20 bore, i only had a brief convesation with them because i was supposed to be scoring, Both lads were on the ball safety wise and polite, The youngest had used a 410 but didnt get on with it but now doing well with the 20 bore, both knew what they were talking about and looked like they wanted to be there, so credit to the dad and to the boys who will hopefully carry on the next generation of our shooting sports. CaptainBeaky
Nice place to shoot, although it can be a bit breezy! It can also get a bit "interesting" at this time of year with the low sun later on in the day as well... Glad, er, your mate enjoyed shooting your 870 for you Edited January 11, 2015 by CaptainBeaky
