Andy W
I have been trying out a Miroku MK38 teague sporter and really like it ......... apart from the rubber recoil pad as it is quite tacky and snags on my clothes. On the slightly older Mirokus they have an hard plastic recoil pad with BG MIROKU on it, are these available as a seperate item still does any one know, I have checked ebay and google but can not find any under Miroku accessories / recoil pads etc. I did have a rubber pad on my 687 and fitted a plastic one off a Silver Pigeon and it was much better so I would prefer a plastic pad again. invector
SNAP!!! I've also got a Miroku MK38 Grade V Teague. The rubber recoil pad would snag occasionally so I had it removed and a plastic heel plate fitted. It cost me £55, but the gunsmith makes them from scratch, and the workmanship is first class. I'm a very happy bunny now.

I'm a very happy bunny now.I recently found a web site that sold all sorts of recoil pads made from all kinds of material, now did I save it in my favourites or not ? The grade 5 is lovely, I have been using a grade 3, really like it and the centre bead has made a huge difference to my eye dominance problem,...................mental note to ones self, buy it! I did save it http://euroguns.co.uk/acatalog/Recoil_Pads.html the vulcanite pads sound as if they could be sanded and shaped to fit. Found another one http://www.chambersgunmakers.co.uk/Stock%2...20materials.htm
