reggiegun
If your groups on Sunday are the normal you should stay with that recipe. You could spend more time faffing about reloading than actually shooting ( I know i do, but it floats my boat, and I enjoy my time in the shed) Funny your mrs said she enjoys your time spent in the shed as well. reggiegun
Well I'm assuming my press scales etc will all last me many years and I'll just have to get more dies as I try different chamberings. 308 or 30-06 next? Hope you have binned your lee scales? Did you try your home loads at a longer distance than 100 yards? Thats when you will see if you have sorted it. welshwarrior
No still my lee scales, I only made up 5 of each batch. Now I've norrowed it down at 100 I'll have some extra for the longer targets at the end of February.
reggiegun
I have found that my 308 groups best at the lower end of the powder weight scale. Resulting in larger drop at 200, I have had to compensate by increasing my zero distance. As dodgy said you will end up messing around no end, using up loads of ammo and time. But it's good fun.
