clayboster Posted February 3, 2015 Report Share Posted February 3, 2015 just a quick un folks! ive bought a nice semi auto with a gorgeous stock that is highly polished , my question is....can i lock away just the barrel in my safe? as i dont want to risk scratching the finish as i remove and replace a full gun in the cabinet, the stock and action can be stored in the locking hard case and be hidden out of sight in a locked room, or do i have to put the whole lock, stock, and barrel in my safe? and eventualy scratch or dink it. cheers all.....jarma. I think that the whole thing needs to be locked away, but I'm sure that someone more knowledgeable will be along in a minute to confirm or otherwise. If you want you can always use the sleeve from an old wet suit or make something up from lengths of pipe insulation.
