It will be used mainly for pigeon shooting, but I do want to get involved in some wildfowling. I've decided on a Beretta Xtrema2. Please please please don't try to change my mind. I tried an Xtrema some time ago at the Epping shooting school and shot pretty well with it. Money isn't really an issue for me either. I like the Hardwoods green HD pattern on the Xtrema. http://www.beretta.com/index.aspx?m=74&idc=1&ids=74 What I would like help/opinions on is the suitability of a 26" barrel on a wildfowler. For some reason the MAX 4 Xtrema comes with a choice of 26,28 and 30" barrels. The Hardwoods version comes with 24 or 26" only.
