Tailormadefun Posted February 18, 2015 Report Share Posted February 18, 2015 2 of mine went, an 06 and a 2009 check and see if its had the ralliart upgrade, early ones put the engines under too much stress and blew the HG take it for a good long run, up hill if possible then quickly check for bubbles in the header tank, if there is any or a weird smell like fish walk away quickly Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

al4x Posted February 18, 2015 Report Share Posted February 18, 2015 Really you just want to look at the things you would with any car. Ideally look for one that has been used more like a car. Service history and cam belt at 60k are worth checking other than that they are pretty good trucks.
