mick miller Posted February 23, 2015 Report Share Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) It won't be dirt, it'll be a small fragment of plastic from where the viewer is cut down. The section removed requires meticulous cleaning to remove it prior to assembly. However, you will find that if you lightly tap the eyepiece you can often dislodge the offending item from the screen.
