blasterjudd
Well interesting is this one My shotgun is due for renewal on 10th March my reminder was posted out saying to ensure your certificate is renewed in time allow and return all docs at least 7 weeks prior to renewal. I sent back my renewal on recorded 1st class post allowing them 9 weeks to reissue a new one. This weekend the postman drops a Temporary Shotgun Certificate Permit through the door that runs to May 2015...... now either they are good at there job being proactive before it expires or they are ridiculously behind getting our renewals sorted out !!!! The other concern here is how much it costs to print temporary permits and then post them out as it can't be cheap Be interested to see how long it now takes for my FEO to come and see me about the renewal ? Long and short of it is I can buy ammo but not any new guns until my new certificate arrives. Alot of gun shops must be losing trade if this is common in Essex? Any other Essex shooters recently received a Temporary Shotgun Permit
Davyo
Better than a S7 mate,( but you can't get one of those untill your licence expires I was told by Durham) as you can't even buy carts with one of those.
