Hi,

I have not long moved to the area, with all the drilling going on at the moment I thought I would post, I am on call with work for 12 days but do not work them all, then I have 6 days off so have a lot of free time.

If any one needs any help with pigeons/vermin please give me a shout, I have been round introducing myself to the local farmers and will continue to do so. Hopefully something will turn up soon.

Thanks guys much appreciated.

Whereabouts in Sussex are you mate? I have a couple of perms down there for rabbits and right out in the sticks some of the landowners pay shooters to sort the bunnies for them. It's an ******** but keep knocking on the doors. Soon you will find someone who will be quite happy for you to do some for free.

Alright dannyboy,

I am in hove mate, Ive been round a few farms, I'll go out again on my next block of shifts off, I will get something, I don't mind driving a bit of a distance.

I have been offered by a friend to get up Oxford way as well but he's expecting so it's hard to pin him down.

Where shouts are you mate

Hi Neil, I am in Pevensey near Eastbourne, also doing leg work trying to get some perms, have been out of shooting for 10 years due to illness but back now, done a few clays to get my eye back in.

Will give you a shout if I get anything.

Regards

Gary.

Get yourself up around Bodiam door knocking. Plenty of land up there especially for bunnies. Horse paddocks are the easiest I find. I'm in kent but get down there in the summer.

Don't waste your time on here looking for a permission of your own, no one will help. Trust me

Good site for info and tips though, just watch out for some of the regulars.

Cheers Danny boy,

I don't expect to get permmissions on here but it's good to get a post up and have a chat with a few people. I'm chasing a few leads now when I'm on my next block off ill get back out there.

Thanks for the info.

Gary sorry to hear about the health issues,

Glad your getting back to it, that's what I love about shooting it doesn't matter how long your away from it you always return, I get out quite often for clays myself, I usually go west London for that, but I think it should be time to try a few new grounds when I'm off ill pm you if your about for a round or two

Neil, there's Southdown Gun Club just up the A24 if you fancy some clay bashing!

Good bunch of people and reasonably priced.

I'm just along the road in Worthing, so let me know if you want to go up there sometime?

Steve.
