  1. They normally send a fake email from Paypal say that your funds have cleared. Then you release the item or post it without checking your actual Paypal account! Never follow any links in the emails either. Always log in through your normal way.
  2. First thing I did when I was getting divorced was to get my guns over to the local RFD!
  3. Or, get some wire mesh in there. Looking at the size of the slab, have you split it into sections to help reduce the chances of cracking? Its very long for a single strip at only 3 1/2" thick!
  4. Fibre strand reinforcement is usually gauged to the amount of cement to be used. Wickes sell bags of it!
  5. I was in exactly this situation 2 years ago. Divorce was getting messy, so shotguns went straight to RFD for storage. Never had any grief, but it would have been interesting if the plod did turn up and inspect the cabinets/paperwork! Best bet, get them out the way!
  6. Where abouts on Sout Coast? I'm in Worthing, West Sussex if any help?
  7. Mine was renewed last week by Sussex, kept old license. Just filled out the form they sent me, sign one photo and jobby jobbed! Turned around in 3 weeks!
  8. Yep, lack of storage space limits the purchase of more!
  9. I do like the Gammas. Hence, A 500 and two 400's.... Just can't seem to say no!
  10. SEshooter, you can do the job two ways. Remove skirting, and the floorlayer will love you longtime, as there is no scribing. Even the architrave gets cut to height with a Feins/Multitool. They just rough cut to within 5mm of plaster, then skirting plonks on top! But, skirting really needs to be painted first, otherwise you will need to leave a shadow gap to keep clear of the flooring. The other route is to let them scribe up to skirting. BUT, do not let them silicone around the edge! Because, when you come to paint next time, the silicone will be your Nemesis. Paint will not stick to it, at all. Also, after a while, it really discolours on the floor due to dirt etc. Their scribing should not need silicone to cover badly cut edges. If it does, get a new fitter. I subcontract for Karndean and Amtico shops, so have done plenty both ways.
  11. My last house had one of the cabinets in the garage. It was attached to the house though. FEO just gave the quick once over and all was fine. It was bolted to the outside wall and into concrete floor.
  12. Neil, there's Southdown Gun Club just up the A24 if you fancy some clay bashing! Good bunch of people and reasonably priced. I'm just along the road in Worthing, so let me know if you want to go up there sometime? Steve.
  13. Bike I've kept the longest is this genuine Pepsi RG500. It's got full Nova box, Swarbricks and straight cut primaries with billet clutch assembly. Even goes out on winter days if not too wet out there! Had quite a few others from R1's, KTM, Elsie's etc....
