rbrowning2 Posted April 10, 2015 Report Share Posted April 10, 2015 It is illegal to send live ammunition via the a Royal Mail post. Also it must be a face to face transfer. Bewsher500 Posted April 11, 2015 Report Share Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) a) it is not illegal, that implies a specific law. it is against Royal Mail's own terms and conditions and listed on their prohibited items though it would be a civil offence not a criminal one b) anyone can ship TO an RFD using either ParcelFarce or TNT, the restriction is receiving (incidentally ParcelFarce is part of the Royal Mail!) c) the ammunition would need to be received BY an RFD and signed over to your buyer Edited April 11, 2015 by Bewsher500 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Carman06 Posted April 12, 2015 Report Share Posted April 12, 2015 Unless the purchaser/receiver is operating under the section 11(4) exemption for miniature rifles and as such does not have a ticket to transfer ammo onto.
