Then you may find you have given your Contents Insurance Company a 'get out of jail free' card, especially if you have claimed a discount for the alarm being installed. It recently occured to someone that I know. They broke in and managed to get some ammo, but no guns. The FEO took a dim view of the fact the alarm had not been set.
