HushpowerTrim
Hi everyone, having used up the powders I could get local I am in need of more. I begrudge spending the silly amount of money required for the powder to be posted to me. Could get two tubs of powder with the money spent on postage!!!! So I thought it could be a good idea for a few people to come together and make the postage reasonable? Or if anyone has a better idea I am in burton christchurch but happy to travel a little if I have to So anyone intrested In putting an order in for some powders/ primers? Or have any vectan AS/ hodgen titewad I can purchase? Big thank you to this forum and it's members for all the help it has provided so far!!! Special thanks to cookoff for helping me with my hushpower cartrages!! Anyone out there who uses a hushpower or any unusual carts I can highly reccomend home loading! And make your own lead shot! It's not hard or expensive to do!!

Hubris
Considering your location I would make Modern and Antique firearms on the Tucton Road Christchurch my first point of call. I know Ghillie hasn't been in the best of health but I'm sure he still does powders. I would rank him among the top firearm and ballistics experts in the country. He is always willing to give advice and if you are anything like me, gently point out why your bright ideas aren't quite so bright! Just beware some of his equally willing to help but not quite so knowledgeable customers who like to hang around, unless you happen to enjoy rambling war stories...........! HushpowerTrim
I have been in to see him and was looking forward to his fountain of knowledge but due to his health he is no longer there, however the shop is still there with very difficult opening times and I did buy the powders they had, they are no longer ordering anything and are just clearing the stock. I would recommend anyone close to go and have a look as it's a proper treasure cave! BE AWARE the cave is guarded by gillies friends and they are armed heavily with war stories so clear your diary!!! They are open 4 days a week from 10.00-13.
