Andra
Left over Kale / stubble tunrnip mix from last year that was eaten by the sheep over winter has sprouted green leaves with some now with yellow flowers which I think is because it is a type of rape. Not had time to look during the day for activity but wondered if anyone has shot over this with any success?
Harnser
I think that you will find that the yellow flower is turnips . If left to grow it looks just like rape just before it pods up and then turn to seed . Yes you should get some good shooting off it . BRYAN3
If the farmer is OK with it,you probably get a feed for yourself off it. Mix the young leaves with other salad leaves-maybe.
