My MK3 was the start of my loathing for Daystates-poor build quality and constant jams if you tried to cycle the mag with the gun pointing upwards-when I sold it I practically had to give it away (mind you it was LH)-shops are still trying to rip buyers off by selling early used Daystates at stupid prices-but the gullible are still buying them so maybe its our own fault?

The Mk 3 does have a reputation for jamming, usually caused by not loading the pellets in the magazine properly or the magazine needing a new O ring. Some guns though just seemto like dropping one in when you reload pointing the guns upward (ie when roost shooting).

If you get a good one they really are very good. But they do need constant maintenance, remember to charge the battery every two weeks, Servicing is best carried out by a Daystate Accredited gun smith, Daystate charge a flaming fortune for what should be simple stuff. They wanted over £140 plus parts, carriage and VAT for what a local accredited gun smith did for under £80 all inclusive!

I give that a miss then might go for the air arms 410s carbine I asked about a new r10 carbine and they said 780 quid but if you ordered before end of this month and in walnut stock they would throw in an extra magazine that only cost £40 and I can get a black tac for £699 else ware but it might look sad if I has a 22and 177 r10 both looking the same so I really need to get something different so wanna try some thing different all though the ultra se keeps poking me every now and then second hand one
