hoggysreels
Stupid question time! ... if l where to get an extended Teague choke, does the same rules apply regards "normal standard chokes and the use of steel shot" .. the manual recommends using max constriction of a half choke with steel. I'm wondering if this same rule applies to the likes of the Teague after market chokes. Edited July 11, 2015 by hoggysreels
a303
Depending what you are planning on shooting the standard chokes are more than good enough. 1/4 and 1/2 for clays and pigeon is all I use in it. Keep mag tube lightly oiled and piston area dry, and a couple of drops on the action bars and your good to go. Replace recoil spring once a year if it's getting some heavy use. And keep the mag tube nut well oiled otherwise the ******* have a nasty habit of seizing up. Every time I clean mine I just flip it upside down on a flat surface and drench it in oil. Leave it to soak whilst you clean the rest then flip it back over to drain and wipe clean.
