dawntredder
I used to do it in the 80's with me oldman n me brother, loved it back then but on the opposite farm near belford Northumberland were another group of around 8 gadgies who used to massacre them and it got to the point were somebody was going to get hurt, because we used to argue like .... across the drawings ditch....put me off doing it anymore me dad more so,could see how upset he would get by it and slowly he ended up hanging up his gun around 1990 he's never shot since...makes me more sad coz a loved being out with him, after all he was the one that took me and I got goose fever! :-\
Penelope
In a nutshell. I don't think it is an awful thing to do if you show restraint.
kent
Oh gosh never meant to start a witch hunt! Can I make a comparison though teenage lad, his first time should he use a pro off the streets? That's more akin to the point, do I approve of shooting the Pinkfoot inland over plastic decoys without a valuable crop to protect (stubble remember) well..................... Both of these thing achieve the same end a dead bird or a teenager with his first time
Terry P
I only shoot the foreshore. But that's my choice. As long as restraint is shown and the shot birds are respected and eaten then live and let live. No one should be judged just because of where they choose to enjoy their sport.
