robdab
Just want to say a big thanks to flycoy . I pm flycoy alias Russ a couple of weeks hoping to book a lesson with him and get my shooting back on track . I started shooting earlier this year but beknown to me I'd developed bad habits and my shooting felt like I was getting worse and quite often I would walk off the clay ground a bit disillusioned my average score for a 50 bird sporting was around the 15 mark. I met him earlier this evening at Kibworth shooting ground . We had a coffee first and that broke the ice general chit chat then we started first of all he checked gun fit and stance my stock on my lanber was a little short so he fitted a recoil pad then proceeded onto eye dominance and told me I had central dominance so suggested I close my left eye never realised that . We started on rising teal and low behold I hit the first one then a pair then not long after that I was centre patterning a good number of clays . It makes a huge difference when you've got someone telling you the flight of clays and where to hit them and I was shooting now with a smile . I went onto a variety of stands and was hitting even crossers which because of my stance which I held like I was holding like a rifle disappeared and my confidence rose. So lads don't be too proud no matter how long your been shooting or a beginner book a lesson it will probably make a difference and get rid of them bad habits thanks again Russ
