dob
I recently put a post on about a Charles Boswell sxs shotgun ,I was advised to contact Chris batha because he has bought the records for Boswell guns. Well I have been in contact with him but unfortunately because my guns serial number is so low ( number 105 ) his records don't go back that far. Any ideas what to do now to find out the guns history?

Gunman
Best you will get is between dates based on proof marks and barrel address .If the gun has any patent stamps this will also be of help but needs a good looking at by someone experienced on English guns .
