dickelliott
Hi everyone. Does anyone on here know of a breeder that breeds the small springers?? What I am looking for is a small "soft" (not too bold but trainable) springer spaniel. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
bigbird
Sounds more like 'biddable' you're after rather than 'soft', a lot of soft dogs can be a real challenge to train What area are you?
dickelliott
Hiya Bigbird, Yes, soft, biddable much the same i suppose. I'm down south near Gatwick airport. Got a 4 year old springer bitch thats really good but need to think about getting another pup to train up as well but ive had my fair share of hard dogs, hard to train, hard to control ha. Someone somewhere must know where small biddable springers are bred. Got my last from from Crewe cheshire, part trained.........excellent bitch but the guy i got her from doesn't breed very often
bigbird
Well I have a beautifully bred but soft bitch who I will be putting in pup next year but that's probably a bit too long to wait
dickelliott
Not really too long to wait. Keep me in mind when you have bred her. Thanks
WGD
Soft and trainable are very different attributes so make sure you know what you are asking for and getting
