aparently the gunman killed 2 people in a hall of residence then went off and made the film, sent it off to a news channel and then went back and killed another 31 people. The gap between the killings was two hours and the police took an hour to arrive :good::wub:

I also saw the interview with the gunshop owner and he clearly stated that if the school didnt have a no gun policy then the gunman would have been killed by the the students before more innocent people were shot, although this makes me think that it would make there be more shootings, like in all schools there are fights, some may raise a gun, increasing the danger of students :lol::good:

i also think the governing body should put a ban on pictures and over reporting of storys such as this as i think it fuels the minds of many more nutters just thinking out loud again

Trouble is that todays media is big business - NBC will have sold this material of the shooter to TV companies and newspapers worldwide. With 24 hour news channels needing to increase viewer ratings and attract more ad revenue you end up with more and more of this news over-analyzed and sensationalized.

I gave up on US TV years ago -utter **** - even BBC World did a bad job with the VT shootings - they had a spokesman on from the Brady anti-gun campaign talking about how the gun manufacturers are liable :good: , but no one from the National Rifle Association to balance the debate - Impartial? I don't think soooooo....

Sad to hear about it :good: Gun control is way to loose in some states in America, in I think it is nevada you do not even need a license, all you have to be is a declared citizen of the state, and you can walk into your nearest gun shop, and buy anything from a glock to military style semi-automatic weapons, which they are trying to get banned, no background check no questions asked.

Not Good :good:
