lurcherboy
Can anyone recommend a flying decoy to fit my rotary. I have contacted a site but they failed to respond to my queries so I don't want to buy from them. I am working on the theory that you fellas are using and will know what is/is not reliable/sturdy enough to get put in a bag. Many thanks Lurcherboy. Cranfield
Whats wrong with using real pigeons ? Just keep two back at the end of the day, pop them in the frezer and they are ready to use next time. Save four and put two on your floaters. lurcherboy
Spent 4 1/2 hours in a field this afternoon. Could not see a pigeon let alone shoot one. I have eaten my last shot ones and rather foolishly gave some to a friend who has not reciprocated. So, I want two I can pull out of a bag until I bag, hence my questions. Hows it going down on the marshes? Lurcherboy
Cranfield
Check out the website at the top of this page, there are some fixed wing decoys there. If you buy them, treat them gently, they don,t like being knocked about too much. Things are fine on the Marsh, all the pigeons seem to be feeding on ivy berries, at the moment. There is also some young clover attracting their attention. We just need the rain to stop and the wind to drop below hurricane strength.
