crowcaller
Got bogged down with a job this morning and feeding a pond for ducks, so afternoon I went to look at a field that that we shot over 2 weeks ago when we shot over 60 crows. Still a lot of crows using the stubble so after watching a while picked my spot and set up , by now it was 2 30 so I knew I had only a hour and half at most .had 7 decoys 35 yds in front . Birds come from a wood about 500 yds away first bird a high crow was missed after that I shot well and the bag started to build had a mixed bag of corvids rook. jackdaws .and carrion crows. With 4 doubles , the bag was 29 picked with 3 that dropped in a wide overgrown ditch so 32 for my 1 and half hours.I wished I could have gone earlier as I know I would have got more but still happy at the result.
