Wharf Rat
Laying contorted in frozen mud and snow, shooting at partially obscured targets nearly 70 yards away with a 12 ft-lb rifle whilst assorted acquaintances both new and old mutually take the mick. Having to shoot at tiny kill zones, squatting in order to line up with a hole drilled through a tree. Elevated targets at six yards. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Wharf Rat
Cracking day! Toughest course for at least four or five years. My favourite HFT event of the whole calendar. If you really want to test your shooting; or to show your mates how you can shoot unsupported out to 60 yards plus, this is your opportunity to show everyone how it's done. Thanks to all involved for the great food, great course, and great atmosphere.

In hindsight this years was a little on the tough side I agree. I might have to get soft in my old age and set the odd easy shot next year This years results 60 max Open Simon Jones 40 Andy Ireland 37 Matt Mosley 34 James Free 33 Lee Anderson 33 Martin Slane 32 Ralph Currie 32 Simon Eley 32 Nigel Fleet 31 Tony Haas 31 Paul Goldsmith 30 Clive Presland 30 Dave George 29 Ralph Presland 29 Richard Lander 28 Peter VanGemert 28 Christian Kovacks 27 Willem Braams 25 Wouter Rijneveld 25 Mick Salmon 23 Jan Rijneveld 21 Graham Mason 20 Andries Sluiter 17 Jeff Westley DNF .22 Jim Stevens 38 Steve Youngs 36 Wayne Pearce 35 Justin Rhone 31 Steve Hermitage 30 Des Morris 26 Dean Auger 26 Chris Wells 24 Recoiling Stu Deeks 33 Chris Boulton 29 Jim Leaman 25 Richard Crow 24 Clint Jackson 23 Jake Day 21 Stuart Smart 19 Paul Hadfield 18 Alex Bye 18 Ladies Anne Higgins 28 Ingrid VanGemert 23 Junior Olly Fleet 28 Nia Preston 26 Lewis Botting 20 Veteran Phil Russell
