Crow killer
Pigeon decoyer A 28gm load is a 1onze or 28 gram load. So therefore a 30gm load is a 1 and a 16th onze load. Size of shot concerns are that the higher the number the smaller the shot is. Size 6s-4s are all fine for pigeon . Obviously the smaller the shot the more you get!! ernyha
PD The number on the cartridge denotes the size of the pellet in it and the higher the number the smaller the pellet. The grm denotes the weight of the shot in the cartridge. The most common cartridges for say pigeon shooting would be No 6 shot with a load of 30 or 32 grams. Clays it is usually 7.5 or 8,s with a load of 28 grams or 9's for skeet. Most people have their own favourites for a given type of shooting so these figures are merely a guide to let you see how the number system works.
