I am going to purchase a hush power .410 and was wondering if you would all know which is the better out of the Biakal or the Italian Pedretti. They are both around the £300 mark and I was wondering if all your knowle would help me in my selection. I could get a screw on .410 silencer, but I have heard they are not as effective. Yes, did it this weekend for an hour on a threshed game crop. Shot more Crows and rooks than pigeons!!

I had a good bag on sunday on the Lupins the farmer has planted around me. I was using a pattern of 10 flexi-coys and 4 shell decoys with a bouncer to add some movement, but there were still 70% of the birds ignoring it. I shot about a 3-1 hit ratio and picked up 36 pigeons. I feel a bit dissapointed though as I feel there could have been a few more if some more had seen the pattern, any ideas would be helpfull. What colour should I spray finish my magnet? Obviously it has to be a matt colour and does it matter if it is green or black. These are my two options, any help praised. Thanks Crow killer

Pigeon decoyer A 28gm load is a 1onze or 28 gram load. So therefore a 30gm load is a 1 and a 16th onze load. Size of shot concerns are that the higher the number the smaller the shot is. Size 6s-4s are all fine for pigeon . Obviously the smaller the shot the more you get!! Crow killer

I have 2 methods for shooting crows. The first is to put a crow on one arm of a pigeon magnet and a Magpie. We all know Crows like to mob somthing every once in a while!!! Number 2 is if you have acess to shooting a hare somtime, use its bright red rib cage and guts and fur to attract them. Also use a decoy to give them some confidence. :yp:

Red stag88 Please could you tell me what a .22lr is. I have a .22 rimfire, would this do the job? High velocity or subsonics and hollow point or solid bullet?
