mry716 Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 Totally dependant on your expected usage and whether you reload. If you expect to shoot a lot of hares as I do with a 22-250 then 1000 rounds is reasonable and if you reload add another 500 to cover the bullet holding but if you only expect to use about 200 factory rounds in the 5 year FAC period (and that is quite a lot for most folk) then 250 to hold and 200 to buy would be reasonable. Never have that many made up but I do it so i dont have to worry about having several boxes of expanding bullets around and can buy 200 at a time to save hassle. If you arent going to reload I doubt you will need more that 100/200 to buy/hold. simalar to mine. only resently had the 22-250 added. got 200 to buy 250 to hold. no problems up to press. but i havent started home loading yet Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
