Billett
Hi, Reading the Lee reloading manual it states the FPS is based on the Do Not Exceed values. It then says that the starting FPS is 0-8% lower depending on the pressure. My range has a max FPS limit of 950fps for .357, is there a way of working out what the start FPS will be for loads in the manual? casts_by_fly
consult a different manual. If you're using Hodgdon powders they list test velocity for starting loads and max loads on their web data. I think VVN does the same for their powder. Either way you'll have to test it to be sure. Are you shooting rifle or LBR with a 357? There is load data available for both. Obviously the rifle loads are a bit faster. rick
